1989 - Some Like it Hot

* 1989 Season Montage * How F1's most bitter feud began: The start at Imola that is shown in this video, is the restart after Gerhard Berger's fiery accident at Tamburello. Alain Prost had an 'agreement' with Ayrton Senna at all previous races as teammates, stating that whoever made the better start, would not be challenged into the first turn. Naturally, Alain thought that the agreed rule would also apply to restarts(as common sense suggests it should). Ayrton though, had different ideas. His logic was that, because it was a REstart, the agreed rule went out of the window, and so it was that Ayrton passed Alain going into the Tosa hairpin. Alain was incensed - stating that he'd "Never trust him again.", and thus the feud began and didn't simmer down, until the end of the 1993 season, where with his biggest rival's imminent retirement, Ayrton wanted to make his peace with Alain, as he did on the 1993 Adelaide podium. Soundtrack Info: Song 1: 'Some Like it Hot' - Robert Palmer. Song 2: 'Furious Angels(Instrumental)' - Rob Dougan.
